how to get around

Kyoto has a comprehensive transportation network that includes buses, trains, and taxis, but one of the best ways to explore the city is by renting a bike. There are many rental shops in the city where visitors can rent bicycles for a reasonable price, and the city has many bike lanes and pedestrian-friendly streets that make cycling a safe and enjoyable way to get around. It is also recommended to purchase a transportation pass, such as the Kyoto City Bus & Subway Pass or the Kyoto Sightseeing Card, to save money and make traveling more convenient when not using a bike.
