We stayed in the  historic Jackson Ward known as the "Harlem of the South" for its vibrant African-American history. This neighborhood offers an array of historic landmarks, including the Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site, and a lively arts scene with galleries, theaters, and live music venues. Additionally, Jackson Ward boasts a variety of trendy restaurants and cafes, making it a perfect blend of history, culture, and modern amenities.
